The Plough Inn

The Plough Inn, Cleobury Road, Far Forest, DY14 9TE

If you haven't already tried The Plough Inn in Worcestershire then you need to. I have lost count of how many times we have gone! It's a family-run restaurant which is located in Far Forest, easily known to be between Bewdley and Ludlow!

The Plough Inn isn't the only one! They have a sister pub, Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn... I haven't personally visited yet but it's on the list and I cannot wait!

As soon as you pull up in the car park, you are faced with such beauty. The building itself is just mesmerising. When you walk into the restaurant, you can smell the delicious food straight away, I love the smell of their carveries!

The decor is great! I love how they use the wooden theme within their restaurant, it pulls it all together, immediately makes you feel at home.

When you walk in, facing the bar.. they always have such friendly staff awaiting at the podium, always smiling and excited to welcome you in and get you seated, to ensure you are all nice and comfortable.

Our family is made up of 12 people so when we go out for a family meal its always a struggle to be able to find the right place to sit and to be comfortable, but every time we have come to The Plough, we have always been seated and always ensured we are comfortable before, during and even after we have eaten.

My favourite thing on the menu will always be the carveries! You can go up and pick which things you want, minus the meat.. you can serve yourself which I enjoy! I love being able to pick what sort of things I want on my plate and how much I have, makes me feel so at ease, so comfortable! The Carvery bar is so long, it's great! You are all able to stand behind one another comfortably, you don't have to worry about bumping into each other, they have made sure that everyone has their own space and that everyone can get to where they want safely.

One of the best things that The Plough offer is the multiple menu choices!
