The Royal Air Force Museum has been around for years, I remember going as a child! It was a fun-filled day, every time we went there was something new to see or something new to remember!
The best thing about The Royal Air Force Museum is that.. ITS FREE ADMISSION.
It's FREE for everyone, children, adults, carers, everyone. That's the best thing, you can go and spend the day out somewhere with the whole family and it wouldn't cost you a penny to enter.
If you are driving by car, you will have to pay for a car parking spot, but this is cheap too! You can pay online for your spot, so you don't have to pay when you arrive. You can just show your tickets and be on your way to a fun-filled day!
The Airbase is full of different bunkers with vehicles, memorabilia, planes, and even tanks!
You never know where to start, but I guarantee it's a great day out! We usually take pack lunches, we spend half of the day around the top half of the bunker, looking around the planes outside, go and have lunch and then make our way to the bottom half of the base.
They have so many different things, for all ages!
They have a 4D theatre! They play The Red Arrows inside, you can experience all the thrills and experience them all at once, The show is about 6 minutes long. We all experienced it, they have comfy chairs inside that move, shake, vibrate in line with the show.
