Where do I start? The West Midlands Safari Park has been a place I have been since I was a child, for as long as I can remember. The best thing about it is that every time I go, I expect things to change and it never does in my eyes, that's what I love about it, I still get that familiar feeling every time I go. Not only do I get the familiar feeling from when I was a child, but I also got to share that with my parents, sisters, and also their partners and children! It keeps us all bonded together.
You can guarantee that there is always a queue into the Safari Park, it's just that popular! We always left the house an hour early to make sure we were first in the queue, we always made sure that everything was packed and made early in the morning so we could jump in the car and go at the drop of a hat.

The best thing you can do when your here is feed certain animals, when you arrive and pay for your ticket they ask you if you want to purchase some of their specialized animal food and they pass you a leaflet of the certain animals you can feed or it will tell you on the box which animals aren't allowed the food, for example on the box it tells you that you cant feed the Zebra's.. but it's so much fun to feed the others! Even if you have some leftover food, take it with you further into the park where they have an African Walk, where you used to b able to feed the goats!
Animal Feed- £3.50 a box
It's an experience!
There are so many other animals that you will see when you enter the park itself, all around the area there are different buildings for different things. You have reptiles, bats and if you walk to the back of the park there is an African Village walk-through, here you will be able to see;
Meerkat's
Lemur's
Goat's
Hippo's
Ostrich's
Lorikeet's
There are so many different animals, they also have sea lions on the left as you walk in, alongside the penguins!
They always do regular sea lion's shows during the day which you can go and watch if you catch them at the right time. There are loads of seats, every seat guarantees a good view, you sit too closely you may even get wet! There are occasions where they perform tricks with the sea lions and invite a guest up to help, that lucky person maybe you!
Once you have finished going around the animals, the path leads you to the main car park, remember you can go around the animals as many times as you would like!
Once you hit the main car park, there are so many shops, food shops, souvenir shops, the works! We always did those on the way out, but you can have a look, either way, the best shop I enjoy looking around is the souvenir shop on the right as you walk in, there are little plush toys of the animals which are so cute.
The second part of the park is attractions, this is where you have even more fun! Are you a big thrill seeker, I know I am! They have so many big, scary rides, it's so much fun.
My favourite rides;
Venom
Pirate Ship
Ghost Train
Log Flume
Apple Coaster
Black Fly
Wild River Rafting
Bumper Cars
Rhino Rollercoaster
